Livelihood support to IDPs and Refugees
This is an ongoing project that REWOCAM embarks on to support internally displaced persons (women and girls) and Cameroonian refugee who have fled to Nigeria as a result of the present war. The project offers food, hygiene/dignity kits, vocational training and counseling to women and girls who are traumatized. REWOCAM goes deep into the bushes and forests where IDPs have fled to, passing through thorough checks from armed separatist fighters and government militia as well as going down to neighboring Nigeria to offer support. REWOCAM has even built a Vocational Training Center at the heart of the Adagom Refugee Settlement in Ogoja, Nigeria, but lack of funds is slowing down the progress of the project. So far, we have supported over 3000 refugees and IDPs directly and indirect beneficiaries have risen to over 10,000 people. It should be noted that the Anglophone crisis is still ongoing and the sufferings of women and girls is still rising.
Offer any kind of support to Cameroonian IDPs and Refugees. All donations made to REWOCAM are matched 1:1 (doubled) by Global Pearls, Inc, USA and sent to us 100%.
