Survivor Voices Against Rape

SUVAR is a flagship program of REWOCAM and it runs on an annual basis. It brings together female survivors of rape in a four-day safe space residency conference. This usually takes place in a guest house in a seaside town. During SUVAR conferences, survivors share their rape stories, share hugs, receive encouragements, go through healing together, strategize on how to fight rape, write group projects and get $1000 funding for their group projects each year. Each year, REWOCAM brings together a new set of survivors and sponsors at least 3 group projects for survivors to implement in their communities. So far, REWOCAM has funded 7 projects with $1000 each and this is part of the SUVAR project budget.
